Environment Voluntary Work
Overview
A variety of voluntary works can be done at Kota Kinabalu Wetland Ramsar Site. Litter clean-ups are a great way for the school community to become involved in keeping our wetlands clean. On the other hand, student can also choose to learn about organic recycling including composting and gardening.

Littering problem and how to reduce it at home and school
Exploring issues associated with waste and what they can do about it
Discover what litter is, where it comes from
composting and gardening
Investigate plant and animal interactions and relationships in habitat in the garden
Alternatives for the little ones

Some of our activities can be challenging especially for the little ones, but no worries we provide a few activities that are suitable and will keep them engaged throughout the programme.
How to be prepared?
Bring some towel or handkerchief for the sweats
Bring enough drinking water or snacks
Bring umbrella or raincoat in case of raining
Wear cap for the hot weather
It is advisable to wear insect repellent and sun screen
Wear sport shoes or wellies
